My Upcoming Crazy Schedule

So I'm working this blog post for Magical Words and while I do it, I decide to write out my upcoming schedule/plan. I tend to usually have it on a calendar (or just in my head, but shh...don't tell anyone) but I thought that others might be interested in the craziness that is my life.

Mind you, in some ways I feel like I'm wickedly boring while on other things I wonder about my sanity. That said...the plan I hope to achieve is below. Enjoy shaking your head at me. - Tamsin :)

My normal schedule:

·         Monday through Friday I work a 10am to 6pm job

·         Tues, Thurs, and Saturday I do water aerobics

·         Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sunday I take the puppy to the dog run in the evening

When do I do things writer related?

·         I write on my lunch hour and/or at home in the evenings after the dog run (if possible)

·         I do research on the train or at the laundromat or while at the doctor office…etc. (I’ve been known to write in these places to. In fact, the new book was mostly written this way)

·         I attend a writers group every other Saturday afternoon

·         I write on the Saturday afternoons I’m NOT at the writers group

·         I write all afternoon on Sunday (if possible)

The above schedule will vary for the following:

·         Trip to Florida at the end of April

·         Trip to North Carolina for Con*Carolinas at the end of May

·         Trip to New Mexico in July (research trip for new book I start writing by Oct. 1st)

·         Trip to Georgia for Dragon*Con in September

During all of the above I will be prepping to:

·         Release Mark of the Necromancer on September 1^st

·         Researching for the book I start writing after I return from Dragon*Con

Due Dates:

·         Send MotN to Line/Content Editor by June 15th

·         Photo shoot for MotN on June 29th

·         Send MotN to Copy Editor by July 8th

·         Start writing short story for MONSTERS! Anthology while book is with editors.

·         Choose picture from shoot for books, postcards, bookmarks, etc. by July 15.

·         Finish review of edit, finalize book (MotN), and build on Create Space by August 1st

·         Order copies for Dragon*Con and have shipped by mid August
